How To Survive A Nuclear War- We Live At A Time When The Potential For Conflict Between Major Powers That Possess Nuclear Weapons Is Constantly In The Headlines, And It Is Just A Matter Of Time before Someone Crosses A Line That Will Never be Able to be Uncrossed!

I understand that the topic of this article is not too cheery, but this is important information. Someday, it could save your life and the lives of your family members. We live at a time when the potential for conflict between major powers that possess nuclear weapons is constantly in the headlines, and it is just a matter of time before someone crosses a line that will never be able to be uncrossed. When that day arrives, it is imperative that you have a plan.– by Michael

You need to learn what is around you and what may, or may not be, a potential target.

For starters, learn about it. Learn about the myths and realities.

Myth- All the cities in the world would be destroyed!

Reality- There are are not enough weapons available these days for the US and Russia to target major cities. The exceptions would be if they had a major military installation near them. What bases are near YOU?

MUST WATCH- The secrets of the explosive health of the richest families in the world!!! (These secrets also belong to the Trump family! Because their health and energy regardless of age has proven this argument over time)

Myth- Nuclear winter. The end result of a major nuclear war will throw enough soot and debris into the air to block out the sun and cause a nuclear winter.

Reality- Nuclear weapons have, because of a higher degree of accuracy, become smaller in size. Especially in the strategic field. Because of this and because of the fact that there are nowhere near enough weapons in total compared to the Cold War, a nuclear winter isn’t feasible. Most fallout would dissipate inside of a month allowing for safe travel.

However, if you live in the Northern parts of the US, you will be susceptible to much more fall out then if you live in the south. This is because of the US ICBM silos located in the Midwest. Over half of Russia’s strategic nuclear forces would most likely be targeted there.

See the dark orange? That’s heavy fallout caught in the Jet-stream and being pushed NE.

What does it take to survive? Hopefully, you have access to a cellar or basement. Make sure its stocked with enough food and water for you and your family to survive for up to a month. Cover any windows for that cellar with dirt on the outside and than seal them from the inside using caulk and/or ductape. When you move your family down there, seal any doors from the inside using caulk and ductape. DO NOT GO OUT! Once you’re down there, stay there. The idea is too make that cellar as airtight as possible to prevent any fallout to enter in a harmful dose. Having a Geiger counter or other radiological detection device would be a major bonus also. You can find decent ones online for $1-200. Make sure you have a radio, multiple radios really. And real radios, like transistor radios so you can stay in touch with whats going on and listen for any important info from the government.

You also need to prepare for the afterword. Cities, while mostly safe from attack, aren’t going to be an ideal place to be when society starts to break down. Just look at New Orleans after Katrina if you need an example. Even cities not directly hit by a weapon will still be chaotic to say the least. Everyone will be trying to leave them. Rural is still best. I’m not saying that you need to live of the land in some forest somewhere. That idea is over-hyped by “survivalists” also.

But do you have a family member who lives far enough away from a city or a major target that you could get to quickly in a time of crisis? Plan on that and work from there.

The latest news is shocking!!!

Experts predict that an EMP strike that wipes out electricity across the nation would ultimately lead to the demise of up to 90% of the population.

However, this figure begs an important question: if we were able to live thousands of years without even the concept of electricity, why would we suddenly all die without it?

ConclusionPlanning a bug out can seem overwhelming. But the more you plan and prepare in advance, the more likely you will remember which places to avoid going when SHTF.
